In the Planet One project there were structured steering committees to ensure effective management and strategic direction. The Planet One Steering Committee, the Fryshuset Steering Committee, and the Greenpeace Steering Committee each included senior staff, and youth representatives.
These committees met regularly to provide oversight, make major decisions, develop strategies, and resolve disputes. Decisions were categorized into big, medium, and small, with specific processes for each. Financial decision-making followed a strict framework, requiring revisions and approvals for significant budget changes.
